About Git Reel...

We love movies. Since I can remember (Alix here), I have always wanted to be a part of what has the capacity to change and affect people at a core level. I remember going to the movies as a kid (Lindsay here, I was with her for most of those movies), and the joy I felt, or the tears I cried, with and for the characters I loved moved me, changed me, and ultimately became a driving force in shaping who I am and what I want to do with my life.

Throughout life people are taught to harden themselves against the painful realities of this world. Through that process we can also become numb to experiences and numb to the impetuses that drive the possibility for change. Art and movies specifically have been instrumental in telling the stories that document our history, reveal harsh realities, make us fall in love, and inspire us to dream. They break through our walls, expose us to new truths, make us happy when we are sad, stretch and engage our imaginations, and lift the consciousness of humanity. We want to be a part of that joy, that growth, that catharsis. However overt or subtle the message, movies connect people through a shared experience and understanding.

We are storytellers. Here at GitReel we are dedicated to working for and collaborating with passionate, hardworking, and talented individuals and companies who - like us - are not waiting for opportunities to present themselves, but rather, taking their creativity into their own hands. We strive to tell stories that move you, stories that are multidimensional, and stories that inspire imagination. In the pursuit of a transformed world, we dedicate ourselves to our passions and to operating by the principals that promote health, happiness, and connection.

Alix Gitter

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Alix is no stranger to the business. At five years old, Alix had her first live performance at the Improv in Hollywood. Agents in the audience recognized an innate musical talent and flair for the stage. Her parents, however, decided not to engage with the professional world of acting and singing, but, they still encouraged her to explore her passion. Throughout her childhood she trained and honed her craft in singing and acting workshops, classes, and summer camps. When she turned eighteen, however, Alix knew exactly what she wanted to do and pursued a career in the arts. Primarily working in film and television Alix enjoys the intimacy that medium affords her. Recently, Alix enjoyed doing voiceover work for a video game (lots of yelling!) and crafted a one-woman showcase of her original music; an experience that has changed her life. She dives into life fully, relishing in the joyous moments, but also is no stranger to pain and heartache, and is committed to exploring the uncomfortable experiences that also shape who she is.

Lindsay Gitter

Hi I'm Lindsay. I was born and raised in Los Angeles CA with my mom (Kelly Lynn Gitter) and sister Alix Elizabeth Gitter, and our three long haired chihuahuas that we love a little too much. I've been performing since before I can remember and I am no stranger to the business.

I am an actor, singer, and artist living in New York. Having recently graduated from NYU Tisch, I am hungry for every opportunity to perform. I studied at Playwrights Horizons Theater School, Stonestreet for Film and Television, and New Studio on Broadway for Musical Theater.
